GlobeTrotters Cafe Bar Restaurant & Lodge is a friendly and privately run hotel. We are centrally located for leisure & business customers alike, with Westlands less than 5 mins drive away.
All rooms offer exceptional value, whether a single, twin, double or family room. Our high standards of comfort and hygiene guarantee all rooms are spacious and clean. Cots are available on request when making your reservations. We have an excellent catering team, which is able to offer the highest quality range of finger buffets, cold or hot fork buffets and one to four course menus, all to suit a wide range of palates and budgets. Our restaurant and bar also offers a main menu and lunchtime menu, with various special offers always available. We are happy to provide options for vegetarians, vegans and individuals with special dietary requirements. Some of the rooms are located over the bar (open until 2am on Friday and Saturday). Please be aware that the hotel does not have a lift.

All rooms are fully ventilated, with en-suite bathroom and/or shower and luxury bath towels. Individual radiator central heating controls assure your warmth and comfort. Complimentary tea and coffee facilities, fully illuminated and spacious executive workspace and hairdryers are also provided for your convenience. Iron and toiletries available at reception. Remote control tv offers all channels, and direct dial telephone incorporating a wake-up call facility are installed in all rooms.
Location Exit from the a303 at the Cartgate roundabout onto the a3088, sign posted for Yeovil. At the end of this road, take the third exit at the roundabout. Follow this road directly across the mini roundabout and continue straight ahead through two sets of traffic lights, past b&q and Safeway. At the next roundabout (police station), take the second exit, straight over the mini roundabout and up the hill. On the brow of the hill, take a left turn into the road signed Penn Hill. Follow this one- way street and take the second left into St Nicholas Close. Follow this small road and drive through the surgery car park to the lower half and park in one of the reserved spaces. Follow the lit up walkway, at the bottom of this walkway on the left is the entrance to GlobeTrotters Lodge and to the right the entrance to the Bar and Restaurant. As we have limited parking, there are various nccp car parks within easy walking distance of GlobeTrotters. We are able to offer extra parking from 6.30pm until 8.30am Monday - Friday in the doctors surgery, Saturday after 12 noon and at all times during Sunday.
